About the Builder
Centennial Homes LLC was formed in 2015 by Alan Howard and Scott Underwood. Prior to forming Centennial Homes, Alan Built over 3800 homes and served as principle for a large homebuilding firm in Birmingham. Previously he owned a custom homebuilding company that created homes in the Greystone, Highland Lakes and Brook Highland neighborhoods in Birmingham. Since 1998 , Scott has held a real estate license . For over 20 years he was focused on marketing new homes for builders and was instrumental in the development of operations of the company where Alan served as principle. Alan and Scott have built a great working relationship over the 10 years they worked together. Before Centennial, Scott formed Prominence Homes in 2013 and has built over 2500 homes. Since 2018, Prominence has focused primarily on building homes for investors for the rental market. Scott was awarded Builder of the Year in 2018 Scott is also on the Board of the Home Builders Association. Centennial Homes prides itself on creating timeless, built -to-last home designs. Centennial was selected to build homes at The Preserve in Hoover, Alabama as well as exceptional homes at Smith Lake in Cullman, Alabama and Lake Martin. Centennial Homes LLC has won Gold and Silver Awards from the Greater Birmingham Homebuilders Association and was selected to build the Prestigious Ideal Home in 2021.
